beautiful bald friend

you chipped my shell with

(knock knock sound)

and light streamed in.

your mouth is full of

(blossom flowers)

this heart is

open, empty, waiting.

time apart from

(leaving too long)

makes my old bell ring like an

amputation.

(the spring is coming)

whilst an old bird

plans a swan song that

might never happen.

the creaking phoenix raises a

glass to fiery futures:

(rebirth in fire alone)

i'm so glad you're here.

（6）

a mind worn out by

(old memories)

savours a phantom biscuit and

calls home a dead dog.
