To me this feels like just another mmorpg but playing it for 2 weeks (lvl 20 paladin player) had me believed it is just like any other mmorpg for mobile. Despite that I feel that the developers are making updates to this with quest, holiday events, live events, etc. There is a lot to improve on in this game. I haven't played any other AQ series but from what I can gather, AQW is the best.
Graphics: You can change it for performance or visual wise. The resolution does drop a little or alot when adjusting the graphic settings on lower end phones (2 GB ram/budget phones) but it won't mess the visuals.
Controls are simpe and there is an auto atk system so you can rest your thumbs a bit but you have to manually press the items, attack (once to stimulate auto atk), target change, and specials. there is a jump button but you can press the empty space on the right side to jump instead and you can interact w/ npc and quest and enemies by tapping them.
This isn't p2w game...money gears towards armor and weapon cosmetics, buying classes, mounts, and health/man potions (you can buy potions w/ gold instead).
players do chat BUT newer players won't chat with you...actually at times you won't get any replies.
there are OG players and founders (kickstarter players) who will help newbies and give them answers...to say the community in this game is helpful from my experience. there are people who will invite others to party up but thats only if you are lucky or at the right time.
pvp...so far I never seen any form of pvp so idk.
overall this game is a decent mmorpg that is evolving.
Also anime style characters...who doen't like that style.
