Steam用户Palmer Deadbeat评测
First off I'll start by saying I couldn't find any videos on youtube of this game so I decided to make one myself in case you were all interested in what the gameplay is like.
Now lets get on to the review. The game's premise feels familiar yet new at the same time. I enjoy card games quite a lot. I've played everything from hearthstone, slay the spire, shadowverse and countless others. So I feel can safely compare this game to other card games I've come across. I gotta say it compares extremely well, it has it's own nuances that set it apart from the crowd. Such as leaving a grave behind that takes a space for a turn when a minion dies. To having 3 abilities for your hero instead of just 1.
The art is cartoony but I absolutely love it and it is what sold me on the game in the first place. But luckily for me and for potential buyers, the game also has the substance to back it up. There are some translation errors that you should know about but you'll be able to understand almost everything. And with a little playing, you'll figure it all out. On top of that the game does need some polishing as it is a little rough around the edges. But this is early access so I can forgive that as long as the developers keep up with updating their wonderful game and don't just give up.
Another concern I had which I'm sure many of you will too is the wait times to actually get into a ranked match, right? Well I'm gonna tell you right now the longest it has currently taken me is only 15 SECONDS. So don't worry about not being able to find people to play with. The game also has absolutely no microtransactions, and you know what you get for placing higher on the leaderboards? Rare, epic and a legendary card! If you are good enough to get first(only first place gets the legendary). It gives you incentive to play though as you see that legendary and want it! But the game will regularly give you coins and gems each of which are earned solely in game to buy your card packs and hunt for those next cards you want for your class.
Thank you all for reading that have made it this far. All in all the game is absolutely worth the $9.99 asking price and if you aren't too worried about not having a little polish. I'd say pick up this one now and support this developer! Lets hope they continue updating the game as it's a really good one. If you are still on the fence, the video I posted should hopefully help you decide if this game is something you might enjoy or not.
