UPDATE ON THE TRAILER / GAMESCOM

We just came back from Gamescom and we want to thank everyone that played the demo and gave feedback.Of course we also want to thank everyone at the Indie Arena Booth for having us on such a great showcase!

We also want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support on the teaser trailer we released last week 🙂

We have been very excited to share it with you. The game has a bit different style than our previous games, interactions and narrative play important role in the overall gameplay experience. But we are making sure it feels like a Rusty Lake game, but this time the focus is a bit more on the narrative part.

We are now going back to work! The exact release date is still depending how much we get done next month. Feel free to wishlist the game now on Steam, this will help us a lot!

Ps. Don’t worry, the story has (a lot of) connections with the Rusty Lake universe.

The White Door is a point-and-click adventure by Rusty Lake that uses a split-screen for interaction with the environment and protagonist. The game will be co-published by our own publishing label Second Maze, the release is planned for iOS, Android, Steam and itch.io this Fall.
